We are in the SW corner of the State and the Rogue River flows through four counties. It originates near Crater Lake, which is the deepest lake in the US and the third deepest on the planet. Of course it has a lake monster, like any self-respecting deep lake should have. There are many legends spun around it by Native Americans as well as hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. The island in the lake is considered a "ghost ship". No swimming or diving allowed.
